Join Guillaume Reynaud for Whisky Education in France
We’re delighted to announce that Guillaume Reynaud, Edinburgh Whisky Academy’s Approved Course Provider in France, will be hosting the Certificate in Scotch Whisky and the Certificate in Sensory Appreciation in 2025 at the stunning Distillerie du Vercors, Saint-Jean-en-Royans.

Meet Guillaume Reynaud
A seasoned wine and spirit educator, Guillaume has been teaching oenology to French sommeliers for over a decade. He runs his own training centre in partnership with Cave de Tain and has been instrumental in developing wine tourism in the northern Rhône Valley through TerraRhona and Terres de Syrah. His deep-rooted passion for whisky stems from his university days, where he studied Scottish history and literature before diving into the world of wine and spirits production and trade.
Guillaume said: "For me, whisky education is not just about facts; it's about connecting with people, tasting together and exploring the ever-evolving whisky industry. As an educator, I thrive on sharing knowledge and engaging with students. As an Approved Course Provider for EWA, I'm thrilled to bring internationally recognised whisky qualifications to France."
Founder & Managing Director Kirsty McKerrow added: "We are incredibly proud to have Guillaume in teaching the EWA Certificate courses. Having enjoyed his contributions to the online Diploma in Single Malt Whisky as a candidate back in 2021, I have full confidence that he is an excellent teacher, delivering exceptional learning experiences on behalf of the Academy."
