Approved Course Provider Tulleeho deliver their first Certificate in Scotch Whisky course in Delhi
Congratulations to Tulleeho, our Approved Course Provider in India, for successfully delivering their first Certificate in Scotch Whisky course in Delhi (28 April 2024). Ten enthusiastic candidates enjoyed the classroom-based exploration into the rich world of Scotch whisky, in what was hopefully the first of many learning experiences to come.
Guided by EWA Educator Anand Chintamani, the inaugural group had the opportunity to discover the history and business of Scotland's iconic spirit, delve into the production process from grain to glass and assess the diverse flavour profiles found within the final product.
Tulleeho’s Business Lead for Spirits Education, Bhavya Verma, said: “We welcomed a diverse group of participants, ranging from established beverage company owners to distillery staff and brand ambassadors. We're excited to build on this success with more courses throughout the year.”
Tulleeho founder, Vikram Achanta, said: “Given the thirst for education and professional qualifications and certification in India, we feel that the Edinburgh Whisky Academy courses have considerable potential. EWA also comes with a solid pedigree of running bespoke courses for leading whisky brands and this will be a tremendous advantage when we offer these courses to companies in India.”
At Edinburgh Whisky Academy, we take pride in partnering with reputable organisations around the globe who share our passion for whisky education and uphold our standards of excellence. Our Approved Course Providers programme empowers companies such as Tulleeho to deliver our SQA-certified certificate courses in-person, providing local candidates with access to world-class whisky education right in their own backyard.
We look forward to continued collaboration with Tulleeho and the expansion of whisky education opportunities across India and beyond. Here's to many more successful courses and a shared journey of discovery in the world of Scotch whisky! Slàinte!
