"Making Sense of Whisky" with Ann Miller at the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival
Attendees of next week’s Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival can look forward to a fun and interactive introduction to the wonders of sensory appreciation with Ann Miller, aka The Dram Queen.
Ann is an Approved Course Provider for Edinburgh Whisky Academy. She teaches our certificate courses in-person from her exclusive Dram Room in Aberlour, Scotland. “Making Sense of Whisky” acts as a unique taster of what to expect from the Certificate in Sensory Appreciation course.
How good is your sense of smell? During a blind tasting of 6 drams, you’ll discover how to identify key aromas and flavours, discussing the likely origin of each from the different stages of the whisky making process. You’ll also learn how to assess whiskies in an unbiased manner.
Also a Master of the Quaich, Ann is always happy to share her passion, knowledge and behind the scenes expertise. She’s the perfect teacher to impart wisdom and boost confidence in your own whisky tasting abilities.
