Longmorn

Situated near the town of Elgin, Longmorn Distillery is renowned for creating whiskies with a rich, fruity and complex character. It is also a major contributor to blends such as Royal Salute and Chivas Regal.

History
Longmorn Distillery was founded in 1894 by John Duff, Charles Shirres and George Thomson. All three were experienced figures in the whisky industry at the time. The distillery was built during a period of growth and expansion in the Scotch whisky industry.

House Style
Longmorn whiskies are characterised by notes of ripe fruits, honey, malt, spices, and sometimes hints of floral and nutty tones. The whiskies are typically well-balanced and smooth, with a depth of complexity that appeals to a wide range of whisky enthusiasts.

Visitor Centre
Unfortunately, Longmorn does not have a visitor centre that is open to the public.
