Diploma in Single Malt Whisky for The Macallan staff

We’re proud to have delivered another private Diploma in Single Malt Whisky at The Macallan with some of their Senior Brand Ambassadors and Distillery Visitor Centre Guides.

Kirsty McKerrow (EWA Founder & Managing Director) said: “We’re delighted to be back delivering the Diploma at Easter Elchies. It’s been three years since our last visit due to the pandemic, so it’s lovely to be back. It is always a real pleasure to teach here in-person and to be a part of the team's development at such a fantastic location.”

Of the 2019 course, Charles Whitfield (Head of Education, The Macallan) said: “A fantastic insight to every aspect of single malt; everything from history and sensory analysis to raw materials and maturation. I would recommend this qualification to anyone looking to build a more rounded knowledge and appreciation of whisky.”
