Candidate map - online Diploma in Single Malt Whisky

Vic Cameron, our teacher for the Diploma in Single Malt Whisky, maps the candidates who’ve enjoyed the online course this year…

“My passion is to teach about whisky and to share my knowledge and experience with enthusiastic students. I just love looking at this map and seeing how far and wide across the globe we can reach students with the online learning platform.”

The real benefit of studying for the Diploma in Single Malt Whisky online is that you can enjoy all of the material – including 15 30cl whisky samples – from the comfort of your own home.

Over three weeks, you will explore modules that cover the history of whisky and distillationthe business of whiskyraw materialsbatch distillationmaturationworld whiskies and those all-important sensory skills.

You’ll have the opportunity to join live weekly tutorials, ask questions as you go and discuss the material with your cohort of likeminded whisky lovers (who you'll meet in the initial welcome session). There’s also a chance for you to network and share your favourite whisky stories in optional drop-in dram sessions.

So, whether you’re here to study whisky for the fun of it, are looking to upskill or kickstart a career change, join us for this intensive and industry relevant – but above all enjoyable – journey into the heart of Scotch.
